Default Getting a new pet!

Around xmas time, and want a little fluffy friend but don't know what. I have a rabbit, and would rather have something small and doesn't cost a bomb. Have had hamsters before, so something different. And oh, my mum's scared of rats!

You aren't too far from my, if you want to bring your um to meet my gang you are always more than welcome
We have 9 rats and most of them belong to my youngest daughter who is 7.
There are no biters and we have one exceptional lad who everyone falls in love with because he is that cuddly tame
My youngest has converted rat fearing adults

It all depends on how much money you have to spend but what about sugar gliders? Guinea pigs? Jirds? Chipmunks?

Well, its for xmas, so unless I have gthe set-up (have hamster cages, vivs) I can pay more. But if not, I'd need to include set-up. So anything up to £40?.
