Question does anyone keep quails

Hi, I was just wondering if there is anyone on here who keeps quails.

If so, what sort of setup do they require please.

Many Thanks

We had some in a coop and run like a mini version of our chicken house and run and they all died within a week so we obviously did something wrong.

I had a rescue quail called collin, he was so tame. I kept him in a large cage in the house and he came out every day for a run around. He use to bath himself on fluffy rugs! I got him 2 girl friends, but I had to seperate them cause collin would not spop jumping on their backs. he has passed away now, but they are great little creatures!

Having kept chinese painted, japanese and californian quail I'd say go for something tall... I've had both japs and CPQ's literally scalp themselves having jumped and panicked and bashed their bonces.. not pretty!
I'd go for something at least four foot tall by which point you may as well put them in an aviary.
I fed mine on chick crub, forgien finch mix, random veggies and seeds and egg food. Give 'em a dust bath... it's hillarious!
