Angry bleedin' horrified i am!!:0( up to you if you read it.

was looking at sky news.co whatever its called and they have a "videos of the week" section. there was one of a pit bull attacking a guide dog. naturally i thought it would show a small clip and a write-up on the outcome but it didn't. it shows a proud looking man with his pitbull just walking at a station.his dog(on a lead)sits down and then it yanks the bloke after seeing the guide dog which it just lunges at and grabs.the blind man hugs up aganst the wall as he hasn't his dog anymore and he inches his way along the wall in the opposite drection of what must have been a horrendous noise.the pit bull owner is frantically trying to get his dog to let go of its victim and resorts to punching and kicking it.the guide dog is seen to just give up and lay down with the pit bull still attached to its neck and finally it lets go. the guide dog doesn't know what to do,it was terrified and runs around the place in all directions with its tail between its legs.and thats all you get!
what happens to them all??
is the guide dog and its owner okay now? and what will come of the pit bull? i will be thinkng about this for ages now and will look for a conclusion on the internet
it really upset me and i'm sorry if my thread starter is as upsetting to others as the news clip was to me.sky news is pants where this story is concerned!

If the news didn't bother to find out the outcome, it was pointless them showing the clip. All for shock value.

No, not nice viewing that.

Hopefully someone will recognise him and dog.
Or someone that knows him will speak up after sing the vid.
That or -long shot - he own up and had himself in.

Fecking idiot.

It's been shown in the hope that someone will recognise the culprit and come forward to identify them to the police. Same as other crimes where the criminal isn't caught will show CCTV footage in the hope that someone will come forward with an identification of the individual. It is all an aid to catching criminals.

i agree they should have shown it but they should also put a small snippet on there to say how the owner and her dog was afterwards-that was my concern.instead it played on my mind. i did find out not long after that the guide dog had to have emergency surgery on deep bite wounds around its neck and hopefully will be okay physically. the proud man and his pitbull should no longer walk the streets and it is an insult to responsible dog owners who own big bulky dogs-he should no longer be a proud man-he should be sickened and ashamed at what he has caused to happen.

it was a horrible incident, doesnt look like a pitbull to me though. The guy obviously knew what the dog was capable of because as soon as he saw the other dog coming he quickly went to grab the lead. The dog im afraid needs to be PTS.

It's not an easy watch but if this video will help to catch that then good.
I hope that poor woman and her dog are ok.
