Quick Royal Suite/Explorer Question

Could anyone tell me if they think one of these cages would be big enough to be split in half with five rats in the top and five in the bottom?

I may be getting a second hand Royal suite, but only if I can fit all of my girls in. But am wondering if it will be big enough for both groups, or will it be a bit sqished? (I cant find the hight of each individual section)

Yes they are - in total the FR cage calc (which is only a rough guide) says 14 in total cage area, but I think 5 max in each half is a good guide. If you haven't already got one, be careful buying the Explorer new as they often come faulty. Mine came undrilled and we had to fix it ourselves as Pet World Direct's communication was pretty poor. ETA: sorry, didn't read the last bit, ignore what I said about PWD.

I love my Jenny cage here, although it's been adapted with two huge doors on it!

Can't beat an SRS. 5 in each half would be fine, or you could intro the groups and have them all in together.
