Angry Advice Needed Please!!

Well i just had a big shock when i went to stairs to change water & foor (i do this every night -its not like i have forgotten to do it ) and saw one of my girls run across the floor!! I then looked at the cage and noticed that i hadn't shut the lid poperply soo i went on a quick run around the room and found 3 out of 4 i was frantically looking for the 4th then i noticed she was in her cage all along!

My problem is that the cage is high up and their is a shelf above the cage which is where the food is and some smelly oil thing which my mum put in my room.. the oil thing has been pushed off the shelf onto the floor im worried that a) my girls have dropped from there and b) they may have diested some of the oil.

I gave the girls a look over and none of them seem pyhsically hurt the worst i can see is a graize on Jubilee buts thats it. However i think Maya may have pushed the oil off and im really worried im sat nearly in tears and im really fustrated at myself!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if this sounds like an obivous question but what do i now... =S do i carry on keeping a close eye on them or do i take to the vets tomorrow? Sorry if i have ranted, im not having a good night as i sit here with two bowls stuck together (one inside the other =@)

I would just keep an eye on them hun, I doubt they would intentionally eat/drink the oil.

my girls eat all sorts of odd things and have always been fine. I'd just keep an eye and look for any signs of lethargy, disomfort, strange movements, diarrhoea (sp??) or general ratty wierdness. To date they've had vaseline, candle wax, baby oil, scented oil, toothpaste, shower gel, washing up liquid....um, I think that's it! I turn my back for a second and they've mysteriously found and eaten something which I wasn't even aware was in the room!!! Generally speaking, they have pretty robust tums
