alaskan malamute needs home

timber is being fostered by myself on behalf of warrington animal welfare.
He is due to be castrated next week he is 12-18 months old malamute sweet nature but needs basic training he is passive in nature likes balls...he will need dog experianced owners, he does get along with dogs unsure and sexually mature castration will help this but will need consistant training and handling.

he seems to have had some trauma with cages as he collapsed in a heap and shut down when he saw a caged van on a walk today, we ignored him until he came around and walked him past it, this is his baggage he will need his new owners help in that department, will asess for food in the next few days.

he is absolutely gorgeous!...if my male staffie would be ok with him i would have him in a heartbeat!...malamutes are one of my favourite breeds! not seen one his colour before though! gobsmackingly gorgeous dog there! hope he finds a fantastic home!!

he has got along fine with my 4 sibes and respects the 3 chows so he is able to mix, he will be rewarding for the right home that can handle the challenges of a 12 month old pupppy and malamute mentality

he walks lovely on the lead even when out with my lot, this poor dog just does not know what to do, he has his puppy side telling him one thing and his hormones another creating insecurity,
but has made everyone he has met today fall for him, been a joy to walk and open and friendly with oher dogs but been choosing quite well mannered dogs that are happy to sniff and move on, he will growl when presented with a situation he is unsure of and easiliy re-directed with a verbal command, all this is just typical of a insecure dog who has had a bit of a rough time can be fixed as long as his new owners put in that little bit of effort,
