Truthfully milk is bad for any adult animal, they just can't digest it, so they get the squits.

If it's a dog you want to give extras to because of poor condition then never use milk that we would drink.
Goats milk is great for puppies. But with an adult dog you would be better with puppy replacement milk which is designed specially for them and has a mix ratio for adult dogs needing extra.

Cows milk will give dogs and cats the squits.

Just to add my opinion lol. No adult animal (including humans) needs milk. However, I keep goats w hich produce more milk than I need for my coffee and cornflakes. So my dogs get the surplus to drink. If they go a long while without milk, the first time they get it, they get the squirts, but if they then get it on a regular basis, they become lactose tolerant and no longer have the squirts. Same goes for my cats who also get the surplus goats milk. They don't need milk, but I wouldn't say it was bad for them and they certainly love it and of course it uses up my surplus when I have no pigs being reared and it adds nutrients to their diet. If I didn't have goats, I wouldn't buy milk for them though, especially not pasteurised cow milk.
