Also as far as i know Lutino(Red eyes-yellow) and Albino(Red eyes-White) cock birds DON'T express a blue nose.
So they are harder to sex.So if you get a Lutino don't assume is a Hen just coz it has a brown nose.

Yeah I read that about Lutinos. Thanks Those budgies, half-siders, are amazing are they common/easy to find?

They are quite rare.It not a inherted trait in the sence of Recessive,Dominant,Codominant'etc.It can't be pass on to the offspring.
There one off fluke and are often just kept by the people that breed them.

The Green/yellow one is a Opaline also known as spangle.
The blue/White one is a Blue/white pied.

Yes they are fairly common.As for floor covering when i have a bird indoors for what ever reason.I use wood based cat litter pellets.
