Default Baby Ferrets & New Enclosure

Here are videos and pix of my new baby ferrets and the enclosure we built for them. Its still got to have some things added to finish the inside but its a 10 x 7 ft meerkat pit style enclosure with an insulated box to sleep in.

Here are Lemony Snicket, Lola, Mitzi & Yurble

I'm glad we aren't the only ones who put signs up on animal houses!

That really looks excellent for them and I love this photo

Looks lovely but however are you gonna keep it dry in winter ?

Also be careful as when they get bigger they might climb on top of the house and manage to jump at the wall and get out.

Thanks everyone! I think they are cute too. They are very well behaved and not started nipping (yet! lol)

Glad you like the enclosure. It is great to be able to get in and sit with them.

It has a sloping floor with drainage at one end and their little house is waterproof and insulated. When it gets very wet I'll need to put some more covered areas in so they can keep out of the rain otherwise they'll be confined to the house.

Regarding whether they can escape we already tested it with JoJo who is my neighbour's big hob and he couldn't get out. We will have to be careful how high and how close things are put by the walls!
