Default Mice & hamster cream

Hi all..
My mouse recently started scratching himself to the point he lost fur and was bleeding so i took him to the vet and they said he had a skin infection and give me some cream to put on him twice a day.. I have a hamster and shes been biting the bars off her cage.. she does it constantly and her nose is bright red and furless from rubbing on the bars.. would i be able to use the same cream that i got for the mice on my hamster just to soothe her skin?
thanks

Personally i wouldn't use it, it was given for a skin infection & the hamster just has a sore nose. Bathe it with some salt water to keep it clean & it should heal up quite quickly .

if the hamster is constantly biting and making it sore maybe a change of cage is the answer?
to a barless one/glass perfecto style maybe?
