Default (Cat) Scratched pad, can i help?

Jaffa, Jaffa, Jaffa.

the little pads on his 'wrists' above his front paws are both sore looking, as if he's grazed half the skin off but has stopped healing.
is there anything i can do instead of taking him to the vets?
i have no problem taking him but it's so simple i don't know if he needs it and their today is their day shut. if i take him i'm not going to the 'drop in' time again, i was sat there 3 / 4 hours when he got a scratched eye and missed my tea.

If they have stopped healing then he needs a vet because it could be due to infection. Animals come 1st im afraid

Exactly!! Your pet can't tell you how it feels or whether it's in pain and cats compensate very quickly when something is wrong with them.

Either way a missed tea is nothing by comparison with not getting an animal veterinary care - sorry!!

i mean i'll book an appointment so we're not in the waiting room all that time.
it's not that he's stop healing its that it's a new scratch.

pets always come first in my life! i don't take my medication for arthritis as often as i'm supposed to but when he had a scratch on his eye i made sure he got his eye drops every dose.
the reason i'm looking for a home remedy is the vets near me aren't open on a sunday.
