Smile Leopard gecko substrate for planted viv

What substrate could I use which wont harm my leopard geckos but I can plant stuff in it?

If you are worried about impactation you could grat a polysterrine (sp) base with hole for plant pots. Then cover the polysterine in silcone and push soil into it. That way you get the effect of soil wit out the risk of impactation.
