dogs also taken for rescue

Had a few pm`s asking if we take dogs aswell, yes we do. we only use foster homes and NOT kennels. this is not a wanted add but just to let people know we do also take on rescue dogs.

why on earth would it get locked i think youre doing a fantastic job ..
theres plenty of rep rescues on here so its good to know theres one for the poor unwanted dogs too

There was a thread locked for offering homes for snakes on this forum??

Is it selective locking?

maybe cos that was more like someone just looking to get snakes and lizards for not alot due to the fact they were selective on what they took.

true rescues will take anything regardless of size and species

I wouldn't say "true rescues" have to take everything offered.
Surely if a rescue is not capable of handling certain animals it makes sense to know your limits?

cant really comment as im not a reptile rescue, i would say its slightly different with dogs.

got a feeling it could be because the other thread was saying 'we take' and this one is saying 'please don't forget that as well as rehoming we do take rescues'. One could come across as asking for snakes whereas this thread isn't asking for anything but reminding people that they don't just rehome them
