hi, sorry just a quick note, Ive had so many pm`s regarding these pups and people saying if they are 8 weeks old now cant we get them sooner, and stating they dont want a pup that will be 11/12 weeks old.

Im sorry but we DO NOT rehome over the xmas period, we get alot of dogs in this time of year due to them becoming unwanted xmas presents and as a rescue it would be unethical to add to this problem by offering more potential unwanted xmas presents.

Thanks

don't exactly sound worthy of having a dog either.

If people genuinly want these pups then they should be willing to wait

I totally agree with not homing puppies over the xmas period as no ethical recsue will due to the problem that Exotica has stated

what difference does a couple of weeks make ?

Not to mention come christmas week who on this planet other than a numpty like me and a few others lol is gonna have time for a puppy ?

People need to think properly before taking a puppy on at this time of year as its like having a baby they need attention, need feeding .............get scared and stressed with hussel and bussel

Sorry Exotica just thought i would add my 2 peneth for ya

What is the matter with some people?
What is wrong with getting the pup at 12 weeks?
You should have lied Exotica and said that they were 6 weeks old and would be 8 weeks after Xmas. People would have been none the wiser and more than happy with the pups then. Why the prejudice against pups being 12 weeks old? God help all the older dogs in rescue all over the country if this is an indication of how people think.

What is up with these people 11/12 weeks is fine, still very much a baby.People ring our sanctuary and ask for a 6 week old kitten and get really snotty when we tell em they cant go befoe vaccination. We are closed for rehoming now until the 7th January. Stupid people dont deserve a pet I wish I could have Daisy she is so cute but sadly no room at the Inn

Oh my god Im in love!!! I want them alllllll I dont think I could possibly handle another pup though at the moment! Lexi is more than enough

I think a puppy 12 weeks of age is fine, If people REALLY wanted one they would be willing to wait...

Normally I would say they could be missing out on loads of socialisation time but I don't think christmas/new years hussle and bussle is a good time to socialising puppies. In this case it is soooo much better for the puppies to miss a couple of weeks.

Do they not ever realise they will enjoy the new member of the family more, once everything is back to normal. Some people
