awwww! they look so cute!
i dont see a problem with them being over 11 weeks so long as in the extra time in the rescue centre they continue with normal socialisation and basic puppy training, otherwise there will be a fairly significant amount of time lost to the new owners, as the majority of socialisation should be done before 14 weeks.

we do understand the significance of early socialisation with any animal from a young age but I think because the rescue uses foster homes and not kennels they do get this. I had a pup from another recent litter and although he was abit younger, well 10 weeks when I got him, he is fantastic and fitted in really quickly.

I think people are just eager to start training. I couldn't wait for my pup to turn 8 weeks so i could get her home and start all the important stuff.

gorgeous pups shame they have to be speyed nuetured as i dont think it should be done unless there is a very good reason my zorro is but i wouldnt go out and buy a puppy planning on having them done unless it was a health reason
i understand that some idiots out there would just want a breeding machine so this is why rescues have to do this
my cats are also done and my dog/dogs will never be off a lead or roaming streets to get pregnant or make pups
they are stunning and will get great homes and yes people will wait till after hristmas if they really want them as a dog is for life not for christmas
good luck hun

are you saying you don't let your dogs off leads at all incase they get pregnant?
also, there are more health benefits to neutering than detrimental effects.

Exotica... sorry didn't realise about the foster homes. i assumed they would be in kennels, but yeah, can't see people having a problem with a pup being kept in a home until 14 weeks

My mums dog was not castrated and as a result he lived a very long healthy life producing NO PUPPIES and had no issues as a dog. He died in the end of kidney failure.

I intended to do the same thing but for some reason my dog had a mad hormone surge and started humping my spayed bitch continuously day in day out for over a week, so i was forced to get it done as an emergency.

Its fortunate we arent all living in the dark ages anymore...lol

Neutering is done (and advised by vets) for health reasons.

I have known of adult dogs come into rescue riddled with Cancer due to not being neutered, I remember a little male Yorkie especially, he only had a week in foster before we had to let him go as the Cancer had spread too far. And all becuase his owner didnt see fit to neuter him.
