you are doing a good job, i have boxers, nearly all rescued, and our young white deaf boy was nutured, at 4/5 months, and hes nearly a year now, and we have just recently taken on another baby white boy who also is deaf, and he will be nutured as soon as hes old enough.
I dont beliave in any dog or cat having one litter, before they are spayed, its a load of crap, and just ads to the ever growing abandoned dogs,and cats, that are about now.

seei agree to let them have 1 little between 1.5 yrs old and 2yrs old... and im on the look for a boxer at mo.... will prob get 1 in the next week or so
