Default Bullmastiff X Puppies For Rehoming

Bullmastiff X Unknown - 4 Girls - 1 Boy - 8 Weeks Old - First Vaccinations - Wormed - Flead

Their mother was a stunning brindled bullmastiff who has just recently gone to her new home, she came into the rescue pregnant with this litter. Her owner didnt want her or the added expence of a litter. She had a wonderful temprament and was in good health. She gave birth to 9 puppies, 5 of which are still needing homes.

They have all had their first vaccinations and the second vaccinations are already paid for (Vets4Pets). They have been wormed and flead regulary since birth.

They have been raised with other dogs and children. They are paper trained.

We cannot garuntee the size these puppies will be when fully grown due to having no idea who the father to the pups is.

Potential homes will be vetted for suitability. An adoption fee is required, plus an extra charge of 50 pound which will be refunded on confirmation of spaying or neutering. A contract must be signed mainly stating that the dog must be neutered or spayed within 12 months, if this is not done then the rescue has the right to re-take ownership of the dog.

The puppies are currently in foster care in the South Derbyshire area.

NB: Please note these puppies will not go to new homes over the christmas period. Available for homes from the 5th January.

I appeciate that your thinking of the best for these puppies but large breeds of dog should NOT be neutered at such a young age!! Large breed puppies should be neutered at the completion of growing.

If they had to wait for a large breed to be fully grown your looking at them being about 3 yrs, as this is the age when breeds such as mastiffs have finished growing fully. I think getting them done before is fine, it says within 12 months so that would make them over a year, but even before this is really fine.

Chyna is adorable - they look like such healthy pups It is lovely to actually hear of a proper policy in place to protect the dogs welfare too (although I know other places do this before anyone starts!)

Free bumpy for the pups xx

Depends on the size, the bigger the longer it takes to develop fully. Both me an my mum have mastiffs from me havin the smallest a Presa to my mum havin a bully, a neo and an english. The English want stop filling out untill he's between 3 and 4.

Come to Mummy Daisy

Bitches can be neutered from 6 months, males 4 months. Some rescues are now doing it at 12 weeks. I had my Staffie done at 4 months.

Rescues have to set limits on neutering so that its easier for them to chase up on wether it has been done or not, plus its a safe age. 12 months is fine for a large breed dog. And I've had plenty of them neutered to know.

Premature neutering can be detrimental for their health so would you rather they were living long and healthy lives or just neutered asap for the sake of it!
