Oh dear poor girl. Well in that case i suggest try to give her some ccf mixed with water and drop it on her nose as this will replenish (sp) and lost vitamins and protine. It may also kick start her eating. If she ate in the dark she may feel stessed so try offering her some food in her viv then cover up the viv with a towel as she may feel more secure. Try her with various livefoods such as locusts, crickets, roaches and a coupkle of waxies to fatten her up. x

Why not ask someone to get her back up to health you pay costs & have her back when shes fit & ready, Id do that rather than lose her after paying so much money for her blood line.
Try Pacmodoms I think theyre called, I tend to offer them to my female beardie when shes laid a clutch of eggs as they help bring her strength up.

have you tried Carnivore care? you mix it up into a liquid and then syringe feed it too her it has all the vits, calcium, protein that she needs. This is what our vet told us to feed our beardie when he went on a hungerstrike
good luck with her |

She is very thin poor thing but she does look alert so that is a good sign. Some can often lose a lot of weight after laying and my female uro can get a very thin tail like that after laying allthough does put the weight back on very quickly. I would gladly take her and try and get her back to full health and give her back to you if you like? If you know anyone going to Doncaster show and can bring her then I can try for you? One thing to remember when they are not eating is to make sure that they get enough water in them as they dehydrate quickly otherwise. To be honest you are now doing the right things so she should come good soon. Keep on tile for now and do as suggested when feeding cover her viv and leave her to it. Count how many insects you put in so you know how many get eaten, just put a small amount in at a time so as not to stress her out, say half a dozen at a time. Plenty of bathing for moisture as even if she doesn't drink she will get some moisture through her skin and cloaca.

From the few times I have spoken to you and the once I have met you, I think you would struggle to find anyone that would care more than you. You sound like you are doing all the right things and the messages you have put up here show that you really care!
The nose will take time to heal. According to my vet all reptiles take a while to heal from any skin injury as they do not replenish (right word??) skin very quickly. It can often take a good few sheds to clear and break in the skin. If she is eating salad at night that's a really good sign! Well done on what you have done so far. Have had a couple of injurys with reptiles before and know how much work and worry it can cause! Wish you and the little one all the best with it, I'm sure you will pull through with it! Steve x |

Can you get hold of silkworms at all? They are great on the nutrition levels and should help throw some calcium and goodness into her. Roaches are great for thier meat:boney bits ratio so maybe a good choice to get some weight on her without it being fatty.
Waxies are fab but are fatty - could you maybe inject them with a caclium and vitamin mix and hand feed her them? I have done this in the past with a leo that wouldn't eat and it seemed to work well Best of luck with her - sounds like she is in the best possible place if you ask me, with a loving family
