I doubt it very much hun. It sounds as if he probably had other issues too that wouldnt have shown up due to his original poor care. They can go on for a long time hiding serious problems until it's too late.

Just because he wasn't cute and furry, doesn't mean I haven't cried for him. Sorry, it just makes me really upset

Well your amongst people here that fully understand the appeal of these scaley creatures that can really get under your skin.

We're going to get a picture of him printed and framed for the wall where his viv was so we'll always remember that 'Blow woz 'ere'.
