Hi Fifi,

Website under construction,but if you google morley exotic animal rescue you will find newspaper articles and photos of us.

On www.morleylive.co.uk there is a 5 minute documentary about us, but I am a bit angry that it was done while we were rebuilding enclosures and re-arranging vivs, so much of our stuff was in temporary accomodation and the cameras concentrated on the cute and cuddly.

More to the point, I look a bit of a on it.................

Hi guys,

Pencil in to your diaries 27/09/09.

This is the date for our next event, though it is yet to be fully confirmed.

The location will be Woodkirk Valley Country Club, less than a mile from J28, of the M62.

I will post exact details when confirmed but we expect many stalls and the following animals for cuddling (subject to welfare);

Large Boa
Meerkat
Wallaby
Skunk
Various Tarantulas
Tortoises
Scorpions
Monitors
Degus
Chipmunks
Chinchillas
Plus others

Most of these are cuddly tame and will be available for photographs.

More info to follow.

You know Alan that meerkat may need some serious attention I could look after it for you all day if you like

Right you lot,

As much notice as possible.

The next gala for Morley Exotic Animal Rescue is on 4th October from 11am to 3pm.

It is to be held at my home again, but bigger and better.

My home is 2 minutes from the M62, J27.

The address is Rhosgwyn, Wakefield Road, Morley, Leeds, LS27 7HJ.

This time we hope to have gifts etc, featuring the animals.

Hi Kath and thanks for the kind offer. Nearer the time I may be pleading for help, but right now I hope we have it covered.

Just taken a fair few rehomes in, and I have not had time to assess them properly, however please let me know if any interest anyone......

mexican red knee
curly hair
salmon pink birdeater
zebra leg

bearded dragon with tail and foot missing
adult normal corn
adult corn cross yellow ratsnake
royal diadem (hissy little bugger)
large BCI male
two & half foot female bosc with many medical issues but now free of trearment and a better than average disposition.

arriving soon........

chipmunks
chinchillas
degus

also expecting
carpet python
iria java pythons
blood python
in a couple of weeks

Usual rules......not for breeding as they have problems, vivs not supplied, collection only and we ask for a donation from all who get an animal from us, We can suggest a donation amont but it is for your consience to decide.

Shout if you need any help fostering the furry ones lol. I'd be tempted by a tarantula but I dont have a setup and I think my OH would leave me lol.

Just a quick update.

I have had a look at the corn cross yellow rat snake (thats what it was described to me as) and it looks to me lie an ordinary amber cornsnake.

Take your pick.
