Default Male Horsfields For Rehoming (Bolton)

We have 2 male Horsfields that are looking for caring, knowledgable, life long homes. They are approx 5 & 6yrs old (so I am told). eating weeds and no health problems. A rehoming fee of £80 ea applies which is a fixed donation towards the rescue. If interested please PM me, please note you must have a secure garden and pics etc will be required.

No a horsefield is well into the hundreds!!!They have rescued them and ask for a rehoming fee to cover costs, and to stop freebie hunters. I agree 80is a little steep but do you know the history of them how do you know hundreds havent been spent on vets bills. How do you know whether or not this wouldnt be its 10th home....asking 80 to get a forever home.

Thanks for this Kimmie86.

Rehoming fees are indeed set to bring back some funds to the rescue as the running costs are between £100 - £150 per week, so if a rehoming fee can go towards the running costs then great. The rehoming fee is simply a fixed donation towards the rescue and NOT a for sale price.

In the past the rehoming fee for corns is between £10 and £35 depending on age, but we currently have no corns available.

These guys have been rescuing and rehoming unwanted and ill treated reps for a long time. They travel all over to collect animals at their own cost and stand to all vets bills. I can see no problem with charging a fee to cover some costs...and to deter people who are looking for freebies.

Long may Denise & Philip continue
