Default Crested gecko - PET ONLY

A friend of mine has emigrated, and happened to have a crested gecko that needs rehoming which is currently with me.

The gecko has some mild deformity, a slight kink in the neck. Bones are not soft and the gecko has always been fed on the Trex gecko diet according to him. It looks obese to me...

This gecko should not be used in any breeding program and should probably be housed alone. Climbing and movement are not hindered.

I will not rehome to inexperienced keepers or people who have not done the required research.

I have specifically not put the sex of the gecko in this post - it is to be a pet only and housed alone, sex is irrelevant if you really want to give this gecko a caring home. If you are genuinely interested and seem knowledgeable I will be happy to discuss this gecko in more detail.

In terms of setups, I only have a massive flexarium which the gecko can be rehomed with. I do not have any other vivs/equipment.

thank you for reading.

i have a male crestie which has the same type thing as yours does. A medium deformity (previous owners) and i he came to be half dead, but starting to clam etc... i have to syrign feed as he wont eat any other way. I will be happy to rehome your little crestie as well, but would need the viv etc... (does he climb and eat okay) and what is the homing free. any way you could drop the crestie to me ?

as stated this crestie is for collection only.

This gecko climbs fine and is obese, as per the description. No problems with it eating.

I think it's because I am being quite selective with rehoming criteria...

I am able to take the little fella in if you still need someone. I am in cambridge this weekend so could collect.

All the best.

A potential home has just fallen though...

I could offer her/him a good home if (s)he is still available?

Cheers, Kieron
