Default Garter snake

Well i got a garter before x-mas because i have always wanted one. Sadly i cant seem to be able to tame him. I guess i should stick to lizards.
I dont know if it's male or female, but looked male when i bought him.

He is striped and eating very well. He gets fed on Garter grub and the occsional worm for someting to play with.lol
So if someone here is'nt allowed to keep a pet that eats mice, he's your guy! (im quite sure he'll take pinkies, he is a hell of a feeder)
I dont know how old he is as the pet shop could'nt tell me. but he is roughly 30cm long, so not an adult obviously.

Im open to sensible offers, but im afraid it's pick up only. and no dropping off half way either im afraid.

here's a couple of pics. ( really sad to have to let him go but ive been bitten too many times.lol, i know thats not a great selling point, but if someone with experience can tame him better as he is only young than that'd be fab). I guess i should mention that it does'nt hurt when he bites as he is still small, but i worry for his teeth more!

I think your garter is a ribbon snake which would explain the temprement (looks like an eastern ribbon)
