Hiya, my brother is living down that way and is really looking to get back into his reptiles, as he had to sell couple of years ago due to personal reasons! but now shes been kicked out lol he's back in the game!

so he's asked me to find out what people have down that way?

I have had no dealings with Emsworth exotics but have only heard good about them and they are near Portsmouth.
Also I am in Guildford Surrey just a drive up the A3 and have a royal and Amur ratsnake for sale.

Ive been to both Emsworth and South Coast, and while I think the staff at Emsworth are nicer, they tend to get more unusual things at SCE. Their prices are a bit steep though! I bought one of my tegus from there - they had one the same size at the same time at Emsworth that was £40 cheaper, but I really liked the markings on the other so... I personally dont have any problems with either shop, and quite like visiting them.

I have used both. SCE aint bad animal wise but as already said the staff aren't the happiest bunch in the world and the shop itself is a bit on the "small and pokey" side. Emsworth Exotics (which is actually in drayton now, go figure?) is larger and the staff are a lot more friendly, but a lot of the animals that come out of there are mite infested (happened to me and quite a few ppl I know locally down here).

I went to both SCE and Emsowrth last week, Yes the staff in SCE aren't the greatest but their shop certainly isnt pokey! The only problem I find is the amount of wild caught animals they sell, quite obvious when they have Fauna Import UK next door run by them too! Emsworth however, I found that to be big but very pokey, some nice animals at decent prices. I havent had any problems with either myself.
