Run covering South England and South Wales!

Hi All,

As above, I am planning a route covering everything south of Birmingham (east, west and south wales).

At the moment the route and the run itself is only a provisional and subject to confirmed bookings. That said there is a lot of interest for this already.

Price £40.00 per delivery address/collection address. IE any one item from point A to B is £40 but if point a had something to go to another address it would be an additional £40. Hope this makes sense.

I'm using an Astravan so at the moment I could perhaps fit a small vivarium in or two but I'd rather not as they will limit space.

There are currently no provisions for heating as this will be a day time trip and although the distance covered is quite substantial it will not be cold in the van at the time. I do not tend to heat reps during transport as it can quite often make the animal active and alert and can stress them in transit. If heating will be required it could be arranged, send me a PM and I will see what I can do.

Also, following some recent problems various other couriers have had, once I have finalized the route, on Friday 29th @ 5pm, I will contact you with a time. I can/will budget for a 15 minutes stop at each pick/up delivery. I cannot wait any longer than this as it will interfere with other peoples jobs. Collections and deliveries are planned between 6am and 10pm. If you have any particular time requirements then please let me know when confirming the job to avoid disappointment.

If you feel you may need me at the pick up/delivery point for longer than 15 minutes please let me know in advance.

This is how it all works for the customers point of view:

• Contact me with the details of the trip, just rough details will do.
• I'll then let you know if I can fit the job in to the route.
• Then once the details of the sale have been confirmed amongst the buyer and seller contact me with the Full name, Addresses and contact numbers (pref. Mobile numbers) and I can book the journey in.
• I'll the call both parties on Saturday 23rd to confirm the details, that the courier job is still needed and I'll give you a more accurate ETA at both points.
• I'll call both parties when I am an hour away from them.
• Once collected I will text the receiver to let them know it is on board.
• Once delivered I will text the sender to confirm all delivered ok.
• All animals need to be labeled with brief emergancy information.
• Any delays on route will be communicated by text.

Boxes/containers are not supplied as standard but can be, in most cases, by prior arrangement. The boxes the animals are being sent in will be placed on shredded paper in the back of the van. This is for a little insulation and prevent any boxes from moving in the back of the van.

Hi Guys,

still not much interest in this one.

Route will be finalized tomorrow at 12 midday and I will then be giving the people that have booked ETA's etc so no more jobs can be booked after that!

Any thing South of Birmingham can be considered.
