What amazes me about the above is the fact that you didn't even inform me of what was being transported in the box (I was expecting one or two, which is what you stated previously), and the fact that such a tiny box housed 6 snakes - as I pointed out when I delivered them to you, each of those poly boxes left in the van for others was for one snake alone - this is how they should be packaged. You never replied to my text regarding what should actually be in your box, so there could have been one, two, three missing, or several extra.
I notice you didn't mention the fact that I myself had to place air holes in the outer box - obviously being packaged like this was fair on the snakes then? I suggest you look at yourself and who you purchase from, before slating me for not "looking after your snakes".

The one thing that really irrated the out of me was that from 4 in the morning till 10.30 i never heard from you and to be honest my mind was doing overtime, had you broken down, had an accident, lost a snake or even gone off with my snakes.

You were also 3 hours late collecting my snakes.

You should have told me you were getting towed in the end, this would have put my mind at rest.

I started calling and texting you from 9.30 Saturday morning so I could get an idea to tell work, but you didn't return my text till 10.30 and by then i was in with work.

Your profile was active on Friday night at 9.58, i now realise that was Kitty, but how was i to know, this again worried me as to your true whereabouts.

So please all i can say to you is please keep up communication as this would stop your customers worrying unnecessarily.
I understand this completely, but you do need to realise, it isn't just yourself I have to keep up communication with. On a run I can have up to 30 clients a day. Once again, I'd appreciated you PMing me directly, as this was a statement for everyone, not just you.

Sam,

Even if the customer is wrong, you should try to control your reply as it is coming over as very unprofessional from you, and as such would make me a little wary of dealing with you.

Has the old policy of "The customer is always right" ended now. Is this the new modern way to respond to the customers that you owe your living to? Not good me thinks.

Mo.

Sam,

You knew when the order was placed with yourself from the courier date you cancelled on me that there were 6 snakes in that consignment, 4 of these were baby garters only about 8" long the others were sub adults at 24" long. I know i said these were bigger, but this was said to stop you poking around in my snakes.

But you know this as you opened up my box to inspect and you sent me this photo which even shows all the tape cut thru, I have all of your texts and all my replies

The box not big enough in my opinion if they're in there. Sam

I have also informed Dr. Alan Francis of your comments on this thread.

I do think I have the right to say my peace, but point fairly taken Mo and I appreciate your input. I have personally been extremely upset by this debacle as I hope showed on our message. This may be a business, but it's our hobby and love also.

The safety and happiness of the animals my partner and I transport are the number one priority so we will always check on every animal through out each journey taken. I know this is appreciated by the majority of clients as it also ensures that
they're receiving what they're meant to be, safe and healthy.

If you do not want us caring and checking up on your animals whilst in transport then please feel free to inform us prior to pickup. We're still learning so can build tailored solutions for all. It's just a case of being asked.

I had 2 vivarium stacks delivered approx 11 hours late which my housemate had to wait in all day for as i was in France... I understand you had troubles with the van thats fine you are unable to help that HOWEVER please explain the damage caused to my stacks????

Please explain how this lot happened as i have a picture of the stack when it left and it was not in this state then, it was a lot of money and I didnt expect such little care to be taken with MY goods whilst in transit.

If adequate insurance is in place this shouldn't be a problem to raise a claim

We were made aware of this damage late last night from the seller and were still awaiting details. Thank you for supplying photographs. We must now work out what has happened as it's out first case of damage in two years including our removals from Europe. If I had seen anything amiss I would have mentioned it, as I had done regarding the vents (as highlighted at collection) when picking up. I obtained a signautre on delivery, neither myself or your housemate (I presume) noticed any damage to either viv.

I just want to say a huge thankyou to Sam (& Kitty) for the 7 various animals he delivered across the country for me, all my customers recived there animals safe and well. yes he was a bit late on collection and delivery but hey who can see what the roads and weather are going to be like and anticipate problems???? main thing the animals got to their destinations safe and well. I must say i like the fact that he checked the contents of the parcel on collection. he kept me me up to date all the way through their journey.
I think you did a fantastic job considering the awful weather conditions.
I will definately be using again.
great to meet you and ill be in touch

Dave
