Question TNT question

Has anyone ever used TNT to deliver their reptiles? Do they even let you transport animals? The only courier I knew of (dunno if there still running) who would courier pidgeons was a company called "Interlink", not sure if they would transport a reptile.

Any advise appreciated

they are the only licensed ones, not that that guarantees a good service, never understand why anyone would send a parcel with reptiles in that will be loaded and unloaded 3 or 4 times onto different vans with no real care being taken, there are loads of drive rounds going on or shows they can be taken to, i know sometimes this isnt that cost effective but it is the best way to go. And i know inverts are sent though the post but they can be packed securely in tissue and padded out to avoid shocks, its a bit more difficault to pack a snake or lizard to stop it moving around

just my views really!!

Personally I would never post any vertebrates. And that is what it effectively is, a fancy Royal Mail. Some of the damaged boxes I've seen in my time... exactly why my partner and I set up our company. Not a selling technique - promise! Just honestly don't have a clue how anyone could send their animals that way. You wouldn't send a kitten or puppy that way would you?

Yes i was told they won't allow them for new account too and was told the reason for this is because they are phasing it out including on old accounts over time altogether.

I have a friend who works for them.

Thanks for the replies everyone

I didnt know you had to have a business account thing with them to use them...thanks peeps

I just thought that with a few of the rep shops on here using them, they would have been good to transport some beardies I had my eye on.

Thanks again all...much appreciated
