Default Heads up on Hamm collections

Just a quick heads up for all those that are offering Hamm collections, those that are running the business already will probally have all this sorted already but for those doing it for the first time you need to know that there is to be a Customs and Excise, Defra and AW joint excercise at Dover and Ashford on the Saturday Through to Monday, if Succesfull this will be set for each weekend that the Euro shows take place. Please for the sake of the animals you are collecting make sure you have the following

Paid for collections are classed as a business activity and as such the vechicle you use will need commercial insurance and you might have to prove that you are paying the relevant taxes etc on that income,

Make sure you have any EPS, Cities or DWA paperwork that you need for any animals you collect

You will need The correct SVS license Type 1 or 2 depending on where you are returning to, bear in mind if you are Attending both Hamm and Rheda the break between show is not sufficiant stop time for the animals unless they are to be rehoused in the normal manner

This is just a quick heads up so we can make sure no one has any problem, if you require any6 other info pm me

interesting, some of us did predict this sort of thing to start when the animal transport licences came in but as usual we were poo pooed and told we were talking rubbish, how long till someone falls foul of this in some way,the first time i was asked for my licence comming back from Houten, customs wanted to know why there were no water dishes with each snake..............easy to see how this could be used to make transporting reps too difficult to bother.
But i daresay no one will believe/take notice so thats ok then
regards gaz

This post is only realy for those that are collecting for other people, if you are only bring your own animals back youll be fine, obviously SOME torts do require paperwork but most sellers have this ready anyway, if you are unsure pm me and ill go through it with you
