has anyone ever driven there? was looking at the coach for March and its £90 PP which includes ferry, coach, entrance to the show however my OH thinks that a long coach journey may not be all that fun...

so if we were to drive there where do we get the ferry to/from? do you get the ferry to France then drive through? (i'm rubbish with geography lol)

any help much appreciated

depends where you want to leave from but we go across to calais through france belgium into germany, it is 298 miles the other side and quite a good run, if you are not too good with maps and directions i would make sure you take a sat nav with you though

the coach obviousely takes longer but it takes all the worry out of the drive.

I have driven several times and the drive is good but if im alone i take the coach as its more fun!

Oh its a lovely drive - we drove over in March. It is a long way and it is tiring but it was well worth it! We drove down to the eurotunnel, got on the train to Calais and drove to Bruges where we stopped and did a bit of shopping (chocolate!!) then continued on to Hamm. Stayed in a hotel the night before then got up, went to the show and drove back again! I would say it cost us about £400 including petrol, eurotunnel and hotel but not including shopping! lol
