Possible new Venue for shows/sales etc West Norfolk

Hi - the main question here first is: What are the requirements for a venue looking to book shows/sales/fairs - i.e. licence required or is this down to the organiser not the premises owner? If we need a licence who is it obtained from and how is it applied for??

I'm asking as I'm the new Sales and Events Manager for a large Hotel in West Norfolk - with a suite of conference rooms and also a beautiful large heated marquee available to hire throughout 2010 onwards..... easy peasy access, lots of parking, and bar and restaurant on site of course - also accommodation for visitors & exhibitors could be arranged at special discount prices if required.

You may already know of me on here - I've been a member for quite a while although not visited as often as I'd like since getting my new job of course. I've several reps of my own as well as all my other animals and am asking if there's any interest here because I'd love to be able to hold this type of event ot the hotel on a regular basis - although I'd have to be held back or I'd probably be buying from the moment anyone arrived!!!!!
