Default Round of applause for the foresight of the August Kempton gig

The latest news that the Maidstone show is under serious threat from the antics of Elastaine Taliban and her cronies made me a bit sad but also made me chuckle. The chuckle came from what I perceived to be a less than lukewarm enthusiasm from MRAC for the proposed Kempton gig. i.e a bit of an I am alright Jack response which i believed was based on the idea that MRAC had a guaranteed venue.

I really do hope that MRAC can get the show back on, indeed as they say 'the show must go on'.

Must say that the reasoning behind the Kempton show is all the time proving to be spot on.

As for the future isn't time that all the individual small animal interests, i.e. mammals, birds etc got together to try an establish a small animal national exhibtion centre, with a wedge of lottery money before it completely runs out. I am assuming that they are under as much threat from Elastaine Taliban as are herp enthusiasts
