Hey Guys & Girls,
I'm wanting to go to Hamm this Sept but have a slight problem of working the day before so getting a coach out there is out of the question. So I've been thinking of flying out there. My plan goes a little something like this... Fly to Dusseldorf -> Train it to Hamm have a look round and buy some goodies Then coach it back to the jolly ol'UK I've got no problem paying for a return coach ticket, but I was wondering, has anyone else done something like this before? If so how'd it work out? Any advice would be welcomed as I'm dead keen on going this year but can't take the day off work coz someone else has already beat me to it! |

I knew you guys would be able to help!
Tarantulabarn: that would be great if you could. Sounds alot less messing about. Hogboy: thanks for the tip, I went to Dusseldorf a couple of years back so its the only airport I know in Germany. Is the reptile show easy to find when you get to Hamm, as in will people know what I'm on about if I ask for directions? My german is quite rusty but think i'll be alright with directions. |

The show is at a very very large concert style hall (Zentralhallen Hamm) which is probably the only major thing in Hamm, they do all the pop/rock music performances there/concerts etc. too, so just give the name of the hall instead of saying reptile show and any taxi or person should know what you're on about. They also put signs up along the road for drivers, although they're quite small, if you look out for them it's fairly easy to follow.
Dortmund airport is about a 30 minute drive, definitely the easiest ![]()
