thats a shame. be nice to educate people (including myself) about all the amazing different species. i think it would go down well up here in the NW. oh well i'll keep my hopes up.

Yep Donny is the nearest and then there's Rodbasten... Although that could be closer... possibly.. Both are still a trek away if you just wanted to stick your head in and have a walk aorund.

There was one planned for Blackpool a few years ago but a load of people through their toys out of the pram and the council ran off screaming and cancelled it.

pretty gutted about that to be honest. doncaster is way too far to drive. blackpool would have been ideal but lots of people tend to get scared fast when they hear the word snake. if they took 5 mins to think about it and go have a look at some theyd soon get over their fears im sure. how can u be afraid of such amazingly beautiful creatures? unless it was 20 feet tall with big wings and breathes fire. i dnt understand.

Default North West Shows

Such a big shame, nothing in north west. I know there are loads of herp enthusiasts round here who would be interested. We don't do too well with suppliers/shops in North West either I have been looking for an eternity for reasonably priced leo's in close proximity. Bizarre because a popular reptile seems to be harder to find than rocking horse poop!
