Not because you're fishing or anything (both threads I see!) but I would say it didn't make it for a couple of reasons. 1) the pic was enormous and I couldn't see it all on my screen (although, the sig version helped) 2) a fabulous, drop dead gorgeous snake isn't enough. Yes the pic was in focus and the snake is stunning, but a snake on the dashboard of a car as very little to do with the 'Summer' theme. 3) IMO poorly composed and a little 'snap shot-ey' in feel.

Please see the above as constructive critism to use for next time rather than a dig.

Agreed, both are awesome photo's, well planned, well executed and well composed (plus a little luck to get the animals in the 'correct' position) as is the mossy frog from Mbar...however..........

for me, the photo that has everything - composure, sharpness, pose, luck and most of all meeting of the brief i.e. SUMMER my vote has to go to...

thanks alot adam1969 gosh i used a 5mega pixel mobile phone and urs is a alot better pic i no i should of told yazmin to get matching yellow shoes she might of had a better chanceshe tried her best to look nice aswell hope ur pic wins its defo the best of the rest ur rat snake is so so cute good luck

didnt meen for the pic to be that big although i think it was a lovely pic of yazmin and she was travelin when i took the pic with my phone i just thought she looked adorable with handbag we was out though so classed as outdoors lol next time will be better its only yazmins second attempt for potm i think shes adorable anyway i dont mind constructive critism its only a bit of fun lol
