To be fair only about 5 pictures had more than just a face in it...

And I'm using 5 very loosely as some was head and you could see some shoulders, or an arm or something...

The thing is, every month we get one or two people whinge their heads off at us for doing something wrong. We can never get it right in some peoples eyes. What people forget is the time and effort that has to go into this every month, the prizes dont come from no where, and the pics dont pick themselves. It all takes time, along with everything else we have to do. We try our best, and thats all we can do.

Not complaining, i think you picked some really awesome pictures and you guys did a good job.

Just saying that in all fairness the idea of not picking a T because it was just a T with a hand shot isn't really that good because most that did come through was ones because they was just face shots.

Again not complaining just saying

I thought the finalists were well deserved, the whole point of the theme was people and their pets, so to be honest, we had to see their faces or we wouldn't know what the "people" looked like, just a hand or shoulder isn't particularly interesting, whereas faces are! It would be like having a person's face and just say the leg of their lizard - yes the pet is represented, but we can't see it properly!! The only one I was sad not to see in the final was the frog, with the owner behind, photographed through the glass, I thought that was very creative solution, considering how diddy the pet was. Could such a similar solution not have been used to photograph a T instead of on a hand? Maybe on someone's head? etc Can't have a token animal in for the sake of it...where would it end? Not having a go, just my thoughts...but a very good challenge for next months comp for all those who have difficult animals to photograph
