Says it all!

We are all here to help eachother and advise. We can only explain to you why we think some courses are better than others.

I am newish to owning torts myself but there are a lot of very knowledgable people on here who are giving you some brilliant advice. I would take it.

ah! but its not just knowing how to do it. its knowing why your doing it and how it is helping !

so my question was..... why do i need to hibernate it and can it harm it if i dont hibernate it i see lots of things saying "if its not fit enought to hibernate" is hibernating it optional or what?

how on earth do you think you can stop it from growing, it will get to the size its meant to be whether you hibernate it or not, its called nature and growing up.

Unhappy Help! worried newbie!

Hi please can you help? i have a new 4 yo hermann that my hubbie very kindly bought me, she's amazing!!. But i'm worried i have the wrong house. He got me a vivarium as he was advised. She seems very stressed and keeps trying to escape. I let her out in the house, as it is always warm( Barn conversion too well insulated) and she runs round alot, then hides in a corner. Is this ok? I'm worried from reading that i should have an tortoise table instead? Occasionally have seen her blow bubbles from her nose when eating, is this runny nose syndrome?
aarrgghh
