Spinach is not a good food for turts as it's high in oxalates, and young turts may not eat veg anyway, you don't say what species it is? Some species are carnivores and won't eat veg at any age.

Your best bet would be to get some good quality commercial pellets and feed it in the tank, try to find what it was fed on before you got it and use the same food.

Also, instead of adding to a sticky like this, you'll get more responses if you start a thread of your own!

A single swollen eye is most likely an injury, treating it with eye ointment might be all it needs. There are lots of herp vets in the London area, but it's a huge area, where exactly are you?

Also you'd do better starting your own thread rather than adding to an old sticky.

Seems like your fighting a lost battle here.

Depends if there the same species some species of turtle arent as tough as others and are vulnerable to some infections others carry so id try and ID your turt first.

Is this sticky ever going to be locked to stop it turning into a long rambling post?
