i have a female hermanns tortoise for sale she is only a few months old, she comes with a tortoise table, heat bulb, uv light, substrate, plants and hides.

If it is only a few months old you can't tell what sex it is.

sorry ive just found the paper work and it was hatched in late 2007 so its just over 1yr old

at 1 years old most torts will look female, however, when they grow larger they may turn out to be males. Most look female before they are at a sexable age.

ive just been told by the reptile shop that its female and they had sexed the male ones aswell and i trust the reptile shop i go to.

my female with its short dumpy tail lobbed its cock out when it was 3, soon after the tail began to grow, its now a male.

The pet shop owners are not psychic, its just an educated guess at the sex, so your little "fella" might not be one

thats not vary likely we go to a very good reptile shop and trust them 100% and the owner knows his stuff and dosnt sell animals that arnt spot on
