Wouldnt these require a room sized enclosure as adults?

Less than you might expect, they are pretty inactive, just sitting around most of the time waiting for lunch to come within striking distance!

What would you house an adult in? Whats the growth rate like?

These are really for experienced Turtle keepers if not you will lose a finger or two! worse than a caiman these things.

I keep my commons in 8ft x 4ft fibre glass tanks
