I have for sale 4 Sulcata tortoises.

2 x one year old - Geochelone Sulcata from America. These two have been selected as best as possible as a pair by the breeder.

1 x one year old - Heterozygous Geochelone Sulcata, from America

(this tortoise carries one recessive gene* for the black eyed albino form known as Ivory Sulcata)

(The breeder hopes this tortoise will be 'MALE', i cannot guarantee this tortoise will be male)

Heterozygous means that they carry one recessive gene for the IVORY form of Sulcata.
The Heterozygous Sulcata's are a rare opportunity in the UK and an oportunity for the buyer/breeder of a 25% chance of hatchlings from the Het's being Ivory.

As some people are 'bumping' their threads against the rules, i felt i am allowed one... Bump!

On a more relevant note and after some un-kind comments.
I know of one other Ivory tortoise in the UK from the same breeder as my Het's- Richard Fife, USA.
I am in contact with Dave who has that Ivory tortoise, Great guy!
I have asked Richard about the rumour of someone in the UK selling Ivory tortoises and Heterozygous tortoises and he said that he has been made aware of someone who had taken images from his website, without permission and claimed to have Ivory tortoises and Het's, However, Richard knows if his tortoises are exported from the USA as any one who wishes to export has to apply to him for Captive Bred Certificates before the exporter can apply for new export permits.
So, the 4 Heterozygous Sulcata's that i imported one week ago, are as far as Richard, Dave and I know the only ones, and so, the two that i have for sale here, We believe, are the only ones!
So they are a unique opportunity here.

I just wanted to mention that the price of the normal Sulcatas from America is Negotiable.
I will not be changing the price of the Het's as they are a rare if not unique opportunity here in the UK and certanly difficault to obtain in the USA also, the breeder is not aware of anyone with Het's on sale in the US (he has sold out of Het's this year) and specifically temperature sexed Female Heterozygous Sulcata's.
I have had some interest through other ad's i have out, so, if you are intereted PM me and ask any questions you may have.
