Indian Star Tortoises
Large adult female, 28 years old, 32.5 cm Straight Carapace Length (SCL) - £1000
Young adult female, 11 years old, 21.2 cm SCL - £850 Young Adult male, 11 years old, 14.2 cm SCL - £500 Sub-adult male, 5 years old, 12 cm SCL - £450 All fed on grass, clover and other green-leaved weeds and wildflowers. Food is supplemented regularly with grated cuttlefish bone and Nutrobal. They are currently housed in a fully-insulated and adapted shed with heat lamps, tubular heater under a large hide and several large easily accessible water bowls. UVB lighting is used as well. Substrate used is a mixture of soil and sand with regular soaking to maintain humidity levels required. They will need plenty of room for exercise in an appropriate indoor setting as our climate is only warm enough for outdoor access when above 25 degrees in the summer in a sunny grassy area with access to heat lamps too. Photographic evidence of correct set-up preferred, no offers accepted. These are reasonable prices for healthy, happy tortoises. We reserve the right to refund payments at our discretion if we are not happy with the set-up on delivery.
