Would you still advise against this?

Thanks a lot
Sorry if I've missed something but who are you talking to?

Ahhh right sorry - I couldnt work out who you were talking to.

I think the thread is pretty old I have to say - I dont know what date it was started but tis a good while ago.

As for leaving your tortoise outside well mine live outside from about April time through to September/October temperature dependant. They come in for a few weeks post and pre hibernation as I dont have any heated accomodation for them outside.

You'd find you'd get more answers if you post this as a new post on the main section rather than just in the housing section - then lots of people would be able to give answers and their opinions.

Hope that helps

dont worry - Im still working things out and I've been here for a little while - I arent too technically minded (bit thick with pc's!!!) so it takes me a while to work out what to press and when!! Pop down to the main page and say hello - there's some really nice people in this section and everyone mucks in and helps each other out, we're all still learning aren't we so its good to be learning from each other

Bet your tortoise being the age he/she is could teach us a few things I expect

Been using turf for as long as I've been keeping tortoises and I've found there seems to be no more risk to the tortoises than the veggies we eat.
After being our in the weather and being washed by the rain a few times... i.e. a week or so it doesn't make a difference if its been raining of course.
