hi all, i am going to be constructing an outside tortoise enclosure this week, in fact im about to start in 10mins,

thanks guys both links are guna come in really handy, blondesarah that is a really good link, i saw some sun tunnels being used i had that exact idea yesterday when i saw them in b&q but only had enough cash on me for screws lol, ill perhaps get 1 2mz

hi i have also been thinking about the sun tunnels there was one for about £20 the larg one and i was thinking plant that out make a hole in the other end so torts can get in from both ends put some little bushes in there for cover to get cool make a little hole in the ground and place water dish actually in the ground with lawn around it and then a bog standard rabit run type thing over the top that was for my tunisians atm i have a bog standard rabit run for them hust a wood frame with garden mesh around it,it does the job for now but im thinking of the sun tunnel what do you think

Andy or Claire lol, that sounds great i had a simila idea, fortunately i have quite a big space and quite a small tort atm that is lol, (shes a leopard), so i can play around with her enclosure quite alot,

im going to place the sun tunnel in the enclosure with plants and grass in it, hopefully it will act as a mini greenhouse and stay warm in their, also it provides shelter from rain etc, so hopefully my tort and yours will love em

not daft at all in fact its great , just painted all the wood im guna be using with a quick coat of fence paint, now im guna have a brew while it drys
