Do you have a secure outdoor enclosure for her? If not then I'd think about spending your £60 towards that... now the weather's getting better she can go outside in a secure enclosure... that will save you money on bulbs as well.

I got an apex run for my 4 tortoises. They're out there as we speak (not doing much). It cost me £37.

If It Is What Do You Think Trixie Would Enjoy In Her Indoor Enclosure

If Not What Would As My Dad Is Rubbish At Building And My Mum Wont Let Me Loose Making Summit For Her Garden Lol

That is one of the more clever ideas I've seen. I'll bet you can contact the person who sells that to have it custom made to reasonable size if it is too small for a tortoise. I'll bet it's plenty bic if it can house a rabbit.

I like the idea of the angled sids because most tortoises feel secure when they can fit into such a corner.

You can also add a ceramic heater to the hide to allow the tortoise to stay out longer. What's really neat is that you can move the enclosure to different parts of the yard so you can either plant an area or move the enclosure as the green gets either eaten or worn down.

how about this log roll fencing?

it comes in 1m sections and is just pushed into the floor. you can get 6m sections for £20 from argos (its on offer) so you could make all sorts of different shape enclosures and move it around and add to it to make it bigger in the future. I used it in my old house and its great, just put some wire mesh over the top to make it secure and put loads of plant pot hides and edible weeds in.

bunny runs like the one you said are good too. you can get lots of different types and some of them even fold flat so you could take it to a memebr of the family if you go on holiday and they are looking after her.

This is the type of enclosure I have been using to put my hatchlings out in on warm days. Its just 4 pieces of wood screwed together with a piece of glass over one half and a piece of mesh over the other. It now has a few extra hides and obstacles to add a bit of interest:

I have also used the rabbit run type enclosures for juvenile torts.
