The little bugger has been learning how to surf today!- he stands on Jays shell while hes swimming nutter!

They are- yes, thanks! They greet us when we go in their room and they will hand feed too.

I know nothing about turtles and have never even seen one - how old are they?

The bigger one is Jay Jay, we think hes about 7/8 months now- we've had him since jan and he was tiny.

The smaller one- Spot- we got from Retri and Rowammi on here back in April- we think hes probably 4/5 months old.

They are very easy to care for, once you have the basics right. They love swimming and basking- so need a large tank with an area to get out. The always seem pleased to see us- and love their food!
