Default are torts happier with a companion

i have an 8 month old sulcata , and was just wondering if sulcatas are naturally lonesome creatures or do they prefer the company of a fellow sulc ?

no, they are fine on there own, they are not really social creatures. nothing wrong with having a few though, as long as youcan sex them. males can be VERY territiorial and aggressive. my 15" male sulc always tried to chase my male rotty around the garden. poor dog was terrified. and if you have a male and want companions for him, you will need a few females so he dpoesnt bpther them all of the time and stress them out.
