Default Feeding time!

I have been feeding my horsfield at about 9-10 in the morning (depending on when he wakes up!) but to be honest he never seems very interested. I bath him at about 18.00 and then he seems to come alive and goes looking for food and when I feed him at this time he eats loads.
The thing is after this he often goes straight to bed.
I was wondering if this is ok - should I stop feeding him in the evening before bed in the hope that he will be hungry in the morning or is it ok for him to go to sleep on a full stomach??

he won't! I bath and feed mine at all different times of the day and they only bed down in the evening and afternoon.

Right tomorrow he is going to get a bath and dinner at lunch time (as I am out all morning) and see how he gets on but if he starts to dig down he is going out in the garden till he wakes up!!!! lol
