Tunisian Spur thighed

Hi All,

My Friend rescued a Baby Tunisian spur thighed from some complete idiot who stole in whilst on holiday.. and brought him back in his suitcase..

My friend has had him now for about a year, She has done the best for him, he is in a open topped enclosure, The thing is shes thinking of selling him, i told her im sure they are supposed to have certificates..

Do they.. could she get one?... is it illegal to sell him without one?

Yes very illegal to sell the tortoise without paper work all they can do is rehome the tortoise.

She will not be able to sell the tortoise and given it's origins she will not be able to obtain one.

The tortoise will have to be gifted (ie.given) to someone or rehomed through a reputable organisation.
