Now i know theres some species of tortoises that hibernate in the winter and slow down in the summer, but if you don't hibernate them is the any long term ill effects if it doesn't hibernate for years? Or any ill effects from it not hibernating for one winter? Thanks.

shouldnt make any difference alot of vets etc say not to hibernate them my girlfriends hermanns has never been hibernated in all the 7 years plus shes had him no ill effects or problems.
