ok so i rarely use this section as i only have the one little red foot and hes always been happy and healthy but the last couple of days ive noticed he is mounting everything from his waterbowl to his house and well Im just wondering is my little boy lonely? should i find him a girl or will it pass and he'll be ok? I dont want him to be lonely but dont really want another atm lol

how big is he?! poor little chap. i dont keep redfoots myself but he sounds like a right one! how long have you had him? do you know how old he is?

ive had him about 2 years he's about 8"'s and about 7 years old i have been told but cant be certain about age as he was left at our pet shop and hes lovely i saw him and was instantly in love
 hes such a character though lol chases the guinea pigs in the garden bully

If it's under 8 inches... there are a multitude of reasons... most likely it is a female with a hormonal imbalance... that's based on personal experience... and a total guess.
Seriously... I don't know why and can't even venture a guess but juvenile females will display breeding/mounting behavior for some reason (I personally believe it is hormones... for some reason) but I really can't say why. Ed Quote:
